The Aims
The course aims to equip students for a variety of business careers and to give special advantages to those wishing to enter the Travel & Tourism/Hotel industries.
To this end the course offers a balanced educational programme in accordance with the general philosophy of the 21st century and the dynamic field of the world’s number one industry, Tourism.

Career Opportunities
These are ever so growing and financial rewards ever so attractive. Career opportunities exist in all sectors of the industry: travel agencies, tour operators, passenger transport companies, local and foreign tourist organizations and hotels.

Structure and content of the Course
In the first year we try to give the new students a general but solid introduction  into the exciting world of business management, the idea being that if a student  does not understand the basic principles of modern management, how could he understand the complicated area of tourism? If for example he cannot interpret
a statistical chart/graph how can he appreciate the trends in the tourism industry? All the subjects taught in the first year aim at aiding the student to unfold dark areas in the rather demanding and competitive environment of the 21st  century.
The second year introduces the student into the concept of tourism and quickly the student is faced with the problems of the industry and at the same time the endless opportunities. World tourism and its developments are tackled and comparative studies of different countries are carried out.

At the same time the second year presents to the student the other basic functions of tourism and general management in far greater depth than the first year and as such subjects such as psychology and sociology are covered in the subject of Behavioural Studies as well as the financial structures of Companies are investigated in the subject of Accounting.
The third year leads to the award of the Bachelors in Tourism and as such the student’s judgment abilities are challenged. Tourism practices are analysed and investigated to a great depth.
